Irish rapper Liam Óg Ó hAnnaidh wins court case to dismiss terrorism charge for displaying a Hezbollah flag during a 2024 Kneecap gig, with supporters claiming the charge was politically motivated.
The rap group cited band member Mo Chara's ongoing terrorism charge in Britain for displaying a Hezbollah flag at a London concert last year. Six months earlier, Kneecap projected 'Fuck Israel. Free Palestine' during its Coachella show
The tour had been nearly sold out, coming six months after Kneecap vaulted into public view when the group projected the words “F–k Israel. Free Palestine” on stage.
