The board of directors of state-run Romgaz (SNG.RO), the largest natural gas producer in Romania, on September 19 approved, based on the decision of shareholders, the establishment of the Euro Medium Term Notes Program and the EMTN Program Base Prospectus for the funding of the Neptun Deep gas project in the Black Sea, in which Romgaz owns 50%.
Black Sea Oil & Gas (BSOG), whose owner is US giant Carlyle, has announced the start of the authorization process for an offshore energy corridor in the Romanian sector of the Black Sea along the infrastructure of the Midia Natural Gas Development (MGD) Project.
Romania exported 4 million tons of wheat of the 2021 harvest, namely over 35%, by late December 2021, thus ranking first among wheat exporters in the Black Sea area and in the EU, according to Cezar Gheorghe, grain trade expert analyst at Romanian Farmers’ Club.
