Pharmacy chain Evofarm is taking over 22 pharmacies owned by the company Farmacia de la Tara and located in the counties of Dambovita, Giurgiu, Ilfov and Teleorman.

Farmacia Tei and Bebe Tei, two of the most powerful brands on Romania’s pharma market, are undergoing a rebranding process and changing their visual identity under the umbrella of Grupul Tei, which includes the two identities.

Romania’s competition watchdog has greenlighted the deal whereby Paval Holding, the special purpose vehicle of brothers Adrian and Dragos Paval, owners of DIY retailer Dedeman, bought into Farmacia Tei and Bebetei Investments Group.
