A network of bots that prosecutors believe is controlled by the Russian mercenary group Wagner Force promoted photos of spray-painted stars on social media, a French official said.

“I think there is lot of hate in those marches. when you have people chanting ‘jihad, jihad’ or ‘from the river to the sea,’ that is intended to send intimidation,” Dowden said.
The incident adds to a growing list of planned or actual attacks on Jews amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war and spiking antisemitism that has accompanied it.
The envoys called upon governments "to assess the needs and provide the necessary security assistance that Jewish communities require at this time of crisis."
The coalition’s approach involves tackling a range of antisemitic incidents, providing pro bono services to victims, and pursuing cases that set precedents for combating hate.
