The Competition Council has greenlighted pharmaceutical group Dona’s acquisition of the VET division of Iasi-based Vetro in September.

Nuclear power producer Nuclearelectrica (SNN.RO) and French-held Framatome will team up for a project to produce medical isotope Lutetium-177 (Lu-177) at the nuclear power plant in Cernavoda in Romania. Lutetium-177 is used for a variety of lifesaving cancer treatments.
