Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has heard reports from the military command and the heads of law enforcement agencies regarding the security situation in Ukraine's southeastern Zaporizhzhia region.
The medical sphere has collapsed in the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia region. The enemy closed 70% of medical institutions, turning them into military hospitals.
On the morning of January 8, Russian troops attacked Zaporizhzhia with S-400 and Iskander-M missiles, according to preliminary information. Infrastructure facilities were hit.
Russian troops conducted offensive actions to the northwest of the Donetsk region’s Bakhmut, while Ukrainian forces made marginal advances in the western Zaporizhzhia region.
